Bearing Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

Audi Q2 from MY 2016:

-- Remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Refer to WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles with generator:

-- Use the Wrench - 21mm:T40263  , Adapter:T40314  and 24mm socket to counterhold the vibration damper at the crankshaft.

Vehicles with starter generator:

-- Counterhold at the starter generator using a ratchet -1-.

• Pay attention to the direction of rotation: the control valves have left-hand threads - risk of damaging the threads.

-- Remove the left and right control valve using the Assembly Tool:T10352/2  -item 1- clockwise -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 6-.

• Carefully remove the bearing mount, without tilting.

-- Remove the bearing mount.
