Center And Rear Mufflers, Separating, AUDI A3 From My 2021/Q2 From My 2016/TT From My 2015

• A separating point has been provided in the connecting pipe for individual replacement of the mufflers.
• The separating point is marked by depressions around the circumference of the exhaust pipe.

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Chain Pipe Cutter:VAS 6254

Procedure

Audi A3 from MY 2021/TT from MY 2015 with FWD:

-- Separate the exhaust pipe at a right angle at the separating point -arrow- (example) using a Chain Pipe Cutter:VAS 6254  .

-- When installing, position clamping sleeve -arrows- centrally on the separation point (example illustration).

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Install the rear clamping sleeve. Refer to the appropriate Service Information. .

-- Install the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
