Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, Vehicle With Starter Generator: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
CAUTION:
Risk of destroying a used ribbed belt by reversing the running direction.
- Mark the running direction before removal.
- Pay attention to the running direction when reinstalling.
-- To release the tension of the ribbed belt, turn the tensioner using the Wrench - 21mm: T40263 -item 3- and the Adapter :T40263/1 -item 2- clockwise -arrow-.
-- Lock the tensioner as shown using the Drift:T10060A -item 1-.
-- Remove the ribbed belt.
