Ribbed Belt TENSIONER, Establishing Assembly Condition

Adapter :T40263/1 , not illustrated

Procedure

Tensioner removed. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONING DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLE WITH STARTER GENERATOR .

-- Tighten the Adapter :T40263/1 -item 2- into the vise.

-- Align the tensioner to the adapter as shown.

-- To tension, position the wrench -item 1- to the tensioner and turn it counter-clockwise -arrow-.

-- Lock the tensioner using the Locking Pin:T10060A -item 3-.
