Left Air Duct Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct hose.
-- If installed, free up the coolant hose/pressure line -3-.
-- Free up the wiring harness -1 and 2- from the air duct pipe.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -4-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the air duct pipe.
Vehicles with Secondary Air System:
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
-- Press the release buttons on both sides -arrow- and remove the pressure line -2-.
Continuation for All Vehicles:
-- Remove the air duct pipe.
-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122 .
