Procedure
An angle up to 4.8° is still possible when the vehicle is stationary. Therefore, the rear axle steering gear must be brought into the zero position before a vehicle alignment or before adjusting any driver assistance systems.
- This is the only way to ensure that the rear axle steering is in the straight-ahead position.
-- Select the "Rear Axle Steering Gear, Moving into Zero Position" program. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRIES .
-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
