Pedestrian Protection Trigger 1 And 2 G598/ G599, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear fender cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - FENDER .

-- Front passenger side: remove the expanding rivets -1-.

-- Tilt the rain water drain channel -2- upward and remove from the fresh air intake -3-.

-- Remove the clip -3-.

-- Free up the connector -2- and disconnect.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Disengage the pedestrian protection trigger -4- on the hood hinge and remove.
