Pedestrian Protection Center Crash Sensor G693, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Remove the bolt -1-.
-- Remove the crash sensor -2- from the radiator grille.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
-- To do this pull out the connector lock -2-, push down -arrow-, and disconnect the connector -1- on the crash sensor.
