Knee Airbag With Igniter, Removing And Installing, Front Passenger Side: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Install the glove compartment. Refer to Glove Compartment, Removing and Installing .
Tip
After completing a procedure, perform a visual inspection to make sure that the surface of the knee airbag is not damaged.
Requirement
- Make sure the wires are not pinched.
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unexpectedly.
A risk of injury is possible.
- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.
-- If the battery was disconnected, perform the required steps after connecting the battery.
