Airbag Control Module J234, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Requirement
- Make sure the connectors are pushed in all the way and that they engage audibly.
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unexpectedly.
A risk of injury is possible.
- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.
-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY A, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, VEHICLES WITHOUT ALTERNATIVE DRIVE SYSTEM, (0K0) / BATTERY A, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM, (0K3) / BATTERY A, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, VEHICLES WITH ALTERNATIVE DRIVE SYSTEM, (0K4) .
If the control module is removed and installed, perform the test plan for installing the control module.
-- Perform the function "Inertial sensor basic setting" using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRIES .
