Tunnel CROSSMEMBER, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the front exhaust pipe.

-- Loosen the clamping sleeve on the EGR pipe -arrow-.

-- Loosen the screw-type clamp -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the exhaust pipe -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and nut -2-.

-- Remove the end panel -1-.

-- Mount the :T10337  on the :VAS6931  and attach it under the transmission.

CAUTION:

Risk of accident due to lowering or lifting the vehicle with the engine and transmission jack underneath.

- Never lift or lower a vehicle with the engine and transmission jack underneath.

- Never place the engine and transmission jack longer then required under the vehicle.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the nuts -1- and remove the tunnel crossmember.
