EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSORS Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- /Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 Bank 2 -G497-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past. Refer to the Parts Information.

• The hot bolt paste must not get on the slots on the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Installation Position:

-- Align the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- :

• Angle -α- = 5°.

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 Bank 2 -G497- Cylinder Bank 2 (Left) Installation Position:
