Side Sill Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the front door. Refer to DOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear door. Refer to DOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Open the quick release -3-.
-- Free up the side sill trim panel -1- on the mounts -2- in direction of -arrow-.
-- Carefully warm the side sill trim panel using the Hot Air Blower :V.A.G 1416 in the area of the side panel.
-- Carefully loosen the side sill trim panel near the adhesive -3- and near the centering pin.
-- Remove the side sill trim panel -2- from the front bracket in direction of -arrow A- and then remove from the rear brackets -1- by pressing the brackets with the side sill trim panel upward in direction of -arrow B- and tilting outward at the bottom in direction of -arrow C-.
-- Remove the side sill trim panel and lay it on a soft surface.
-- Turn the bracket -1- 90° in direction of -arrow- and remove.
