Potential Equalization Measurement

After installing the high-voltage components or potential equalization cables a potential equalization measurement must be performed on the corresponding high-voltage components:

Condition

• 12 volt and high-voltage connections are not yet connected with the high-voltage connections.
• The potential equalization cable is correctly installed and connected to the high-voltage component.

Procedure 

-- Perform the potential equalization measurement using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

-- Select the "ODIS service" mode and start.

-- Select the "Special functions" tab and then select one after:

• High voltage
• Potential equalization measurement on high-voltage components
