If the Engine Sound Generator Control Module -J943- is replaced, perform the test plan for replacing the control module.

-- Perform the "Control Module, Replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the right lower A-pillar trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
