Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
Vehicles with A/C System (PR Number 9AK)
-- Move the right front seat all the way to the rear.
-- Switch the ignition off.
-- Remove the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the screw clips -A-.
-- Loosen the insulation -B- from the heater and A/C unit air intake housing and remove.
Vehicles with A/C System (PR Number 9AQ)
-- Remove the bracket for actuators. Refer to BRACKET FOR RIGHT ACTUATORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PR NUMBER 9AQ .
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Disconnect the connector -B- for the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- -A-.
-- Remove the bolts -A-.
There is a risk of burns by the metal surfaces on the auxiliary heater heating element. Heating elements can be very hot.
It is possible for the skin to be burned.
- Wear safety gloves.
- Never touch the metal surfaces of the heating element.
-- Pull the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- -B- from the installation slot of the heater and A/C unit.
