-- Switch of the function "parking heater" (deactivate). Refer to the Owner's Manual.

-- Switch the ignition off.

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles with Knee Airbag

-- Remove the knee airbag. Refer to KNEE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the expanding rivets -B and C-.
