Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Rear Seat Backrest: Removing

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the rear seat backrest on a clean surface.

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Right Rear Seat Backrest:

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide in the center. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the pass-through. Refer to BACKREST WITH PASS-THROUGH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the locking bolts -arrow- for the pass-through.

Left Rear Seat Backrest:

-- Remove the inner mounting pin. Refer to INNER MOUNTING PIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the sides of the cover at the bottom of the backrest using the Wedge Set :T10383/1  -arrow-.

-- Unclip the outer bearing sleeve -1- from the rear seat backrest with the Wedge Set :T10383/1  -arrow-.

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, pry off the clamping strip -2- for the cover from the backrest frame using a flat-head screwdriver -3- -arrow-.

-- Remove the rear headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, OUTER REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the cover -1- with the cushion from the backrest frame.
