Center Console, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the Switch Module in Instrument Panel, Center -EX22-. Refer to SWITCH MODULE IN INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER EX22, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the left and right center console trim panel on the lower side. Refer to LOWER SIDE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear trims. Refer to Center Console Rear Trim, Removing and Installing .
-- Move the front seats as far back as possible.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1-.
-- Disconnect the antenna wire -2-.
-- Push the carpet to the side.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Repeat the procedure for the rail on the opposite side.
-- Move the front seats all the way to the front and then into their lowest position. Then position the backrest approximately 45°.
-- Press the carpet to the side at height of the front seats seat belt latch.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow A- using the Bit Torx:T10573 and the wrench - 8mm.
-- Press the carpet to the side and remove the bolt -arrow-.
-- Repeat the procedure for the rail on the opposite side.
-- Press the carpet to the side and lift up the center console.
-- Remove the air duct to the left and right side -1- for the rear footwell.
-- Lift up the center console -2- with the air duct at the bracket -1- in direction of -arrow A- then remove rearward out of the instrument panel in direction of -arrow B-.
-- Guide out the wire and rear the center console rearward.
-- Remove the center console with air distribution from the vehicle together with a second person.
