Sub-Assembly Bracket, Removing And Installing

Removing the A/C Compressor Bracket

Vehicles without High-Voltage System:

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the A/C compressor belt pulley. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Versions without active suspension: remove the A/C compressor from the bracket and tie it up to the left side. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .

-- Versions with active suspension: remove the A/C compressor. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles with High-Voltage System:

-- Remove the A/C compressor from the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .

Installing 

Additional procedures:

-- Check and if necessary clean the contact surfaces at the A/C compressor bracket and at the cylinder block before screwing in the bracket. Refer to Contact Surface Cleaning Set : VAS6410 .

-- Install the A/C compressor. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET or A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
