Installing 

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the screw-type clamp after removal.
• Replace the seals, gaskets and O-rings after removal.
• Fill the turbocharger with engine oil at the oil supply line connection.
• Check the vacuum hoses for damage before the assembly and replace if necessary.
• Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Bring the turbocharger into the installation position, at the same time pay attention to the alignment pin.

-- Pay attention to the installation position of the vacuum hoses. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the lower air duct pipe on the turbocharger. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

There are additional procedures depending on the model. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check the oil level. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

• After installing the turbocharger, let the engine idle for approximately one minute without increasing the engine speed. This ensures adequate oil supply to the turbocharger.
