Exhaust Door Control Unit, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

• Replace the bolts after removing them.

-- Bring the exhaust door control unit into its installed position

Installation Position of the Exhaust Door Control Unit Version 1:

• The spring -2- must engage in the grove of the exhaust door control unit -1-.

Installation Position of the Exhaust Door Control Unit Version 2:

-- Bring the spring -3- at the exhaust door -2- in installation position.

-- Place the exhaust door control unit -1- onto the exhaust door in direction of -arrows-.
