Check Valve With Vacuum Line In Engine Compartment, Removing And Installing, 3.0L TFSI Engine: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the O-rings after removing them.

TIP:

Coating the vacuum line with water (not with oil) makes it easier to remove.

-- Install the bracket for the A/C compressor. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (2.0L) , SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (2.9L) .

-- Install the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (2.0L) , AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (2.9L) .
