Seat Height Adjustment, Removing And Installing, Seat Height Adjustment Handle, Excluding Bucket Seat: Removing

-- Move the front seat all the way forward and up.

-- Remove the handle for the seat height adjustment to the side from the seat -arrow- using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409  .

If the handle cannot be removed, proceed as follows:

-- Slide the Trim Removal Wedge:3409  between the handle -1- and the seat side trim -2-.

-- To protect the seat side trim, place a cloth -3- between the trim panel and Puller - Unit Injector:T10055  before positioning the tool.

-- Position the Puller - Unit Injector:T10055  as shown on the lever and remove the lever from the seat -arrow-.

-- To remove the seat height adjustment adapter -1-, remove the seat side trim on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT SIDE TRIM ON SIDE SILL SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, EXCLUDING BUCKET SEAT .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the adapter.
