One microphone (Interior Microphone -R74-) is connected directly to the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-. The other microphones are connected to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.
For IW1/IW3 and IV0, the Left Front Microphone -R140- is connected to the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- and is >>looped through<< at the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-. For IW1 and IV0, the Right Front Microphone -R141- is also connected to the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- and it is also >>looped through<< at the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.
For vehicles with IV1 through IV8 and IW3, the Right Front Microphone -R141- is connected to the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- and is >>looped through<< at the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.
