TV Tuner, Removing And Installing, Cabriolet: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the right luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- on the bracket -1-.

-- Unclip the upper retaining tab on the bracket -1- from the body.

-- Remove the TV Tuner -R78- -2- with the bracket -1- from the vehicle until the connectors are accessible.

-- Disconnect and remove all connectors from the TV Tuner -R78-.

-- Insert the Fiber-Optic Repair Set - Connector Protective Caps:VAS 6223/9  -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.

-- Insert two of the Radio Removal Tool:T10057  into the release slots -arrows- on the TV Tuner -R78- -2-.

• The points at the grip eyelets of the Radio Removal Tool:T10057  face outward.
• Both Radio Removal Tools:T10057  must engage.

-- Remove the TV Tuner -R78- -2- from the bracket -1- at the grip eyelets of the Radio Removal Tool:T10057  .

-- Remove the Radio Removal Tool:T10057  . To do this, press the release tabs on the TV Tuner -R78-.
