External Multimedia Device Connection, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.
-- Remove the center console rear trim. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE REAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- If equipped, remove the air duct connecting piece from the rear center console.
-- Depending on the vehicle equipment, release and disconnect any connectors -3-.
-- Release the retaining tab -arrow- on the external multimedia device connection -1- on both sides.
-- Push the external multimedia device connection -1- rearward out of the multimedia device storage compartment in the center console -2-.
