Near Field Communication Control Module 2 -J1170-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

NOTE:

The multimedia device storage compartment is shown in the illustration without the center console.

-- Pivot the Near Field Communication Control Module 2 -J1170- -1- with the bracket -3- out of the multimedia device storage compartment -2-.

-- To do this, push the rubber lip on the bracket -3- using the Removal Tool for Coupling - Aerial:T40388 -A- carefully to the side and guide in the Removal Tool for Coupling - Aerial: T40388 as shown.

-- The catch on the bracket -3- is released and engages in the groove on the Removal Tool for Coupling - Aerial:T40388 -A-.

-- Use the Removal Tool for Coupling - Aerial:T40388 -A- to remove the Near Field Communication Control Module 2 -J1170- -1- and bracket -3- vertically upward from the multimedia device storage compartment.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the Near Field Communication Control Module 2 -J1170-.

-- Press the catches -arrows- and remove the Near Field Communication Control Module 2 -J1170- -1- from the bracket -3-.
