D-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 SPORTBACK .
-- Free up the D-pillar trim panel in the rear lid seal area.
-- Then unclip the D-pillar upper trim panel -1- using the Pry Lever:80 - 200 from the D-pillar -arrow- and remove.
Bracket, removing
-- If installed, remove the midrange speaker. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SOUND SYSTEM .
-- Remove the expanding clips -1 and 3- with the Pliers:T40172C .
-- Release the tab -arrow A- with a small screwdriver and pull the bracket -2- upward out of the mounts -arrow B-.
-- Unhook and remove the bracket on the C-pillar trim panel -arrow C-.
-- Unclip the wire.
