Alcohol Interlock System, Removal

Pay attention to the manufacturer instructions.

Removing

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select "flash".

-- Select "Enter SVM code".

-- Perform the software update with SVM code -46A610-.

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Remove the 20 A fuse in Fuse Panel 3 - ST3- from location 5 in the left side of the luggage compartment.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the alcohol interlock system control module and handheld from the glove compartment.

-- Remove the wires from the glove compartment, secure them to the bulkhead and insulate them.

-- Remove the grommet, close holes in the glove compartment with fitting plugs.

-- Install the glove compartment.
