Outer Sunroof Seals, Removing and Installing:

-- Remove the glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Loosen the outer sunroof seal using the Wedge Set :T10383/1  -arrow-.

-- Warm up the outer sunroof panel additionally if necessary using the Hot Air Blower: V.A.G 1416  .

• The vehicle and the seal must be at room temperature.
• The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
• Do not stretch the seal when installing it.

-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.

-- Clean the painted side of the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution and let it dry.

-- Apply Bonding Agent -item 1- on the painted adhesive surface -2- using the Applicator -item 3- and allow it to dry for 10 minutes.

• If the Bonding Agent dries longer than two hours, then it must be primed again.

-- Remove the protective film from adhesive tape.

-- Position the seal on the sunroof frame and on the glass panel and push on along the entire length.

• Resting time approximately 30 minutes at room temperature
