Sunroof Operation Cable, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the sunroof shade. Refer to SUNROOF SHADE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the sunroof shade motor. Refer to Sunroof Shade Motor -V260-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the cover plate -2-.

-- Cut the cable tie -1- and free up the right wiring harness.

-- Loosen the guide tubes -2 and 4- from the support bracket -1- and disengage the cables from the guide -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -3 and 4-.

-- Free up the bracket -2- for the sunroof shade at the slider and tilting mechanism -1-, fir this, press the bracket toward the center -arrow-.

-- Guide out the bracket for the sunroof shade upward and free up by slightly bending the slider and tilting mechanism.

-- Remove the sliding sunroof motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor -V1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the wind deflector. Refer to WIND DEFLECTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Remove the guide for the slider and tilting mechanism. Refer to SLIDING AND TILTING MECHANISM GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sliding and tilting mechanism. Refer to SLIDING AND TILTING MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the retaining bracket -1-, the tab -arrow- must not be destroyed.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the guide tube -2- from the support bracket -arrow- at the guide -3- for the sliding and tilting mechanism inward with a turning movement.

-- Lift up the guide rail -2- and remove the cable -1-.
