Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

LHD vehicles:

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

RHD vehicle:

-- Remove the right tower brace. Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Disconnect the brake pedal from the brake booster. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, DISCONNECTING FROM BRAKE BOOSTER .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the steering column from the instrument panel crossmember and set it aside. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

LHD vehicles:

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and nut -2-, then remove the mounting bracket with the brake pedal and accelerator pedal module installed.

RHD vehicle:

-- Disconnect the connector -5- and free up the wires -1 and 4-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and nuts -arrows-, then remove the mounting bracket -2- with the brake pedal and accelerator pedal module installed.

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Remove the brake pedal. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the accelerator pedal module. Refer to ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE -GX2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
