Lock Carrier Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the hook release lever. Refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- If equipped, remove the expanding clips -arrows- using the Pliers:T40172C .
-- Release the lock carrier cover catches -5- on the radiator grille -4- and on the bumper cover -3- using the Removal Wedge:T40233 -arrow-.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover -2- from the groove in the lock carrier -1-.
-- Remove the lock carrier cover.
