Check that it is de-energized on the jump-start connection point using the analog/digital multimeter:

-- Open the cover -1- by releasing the catch.
-- Measure using the Analog/Digital Multimeter:VAG1526E
between the positive terminal -2- and the negative terminal -3-.
- Display on analog/digital multimeter = 0 Volt.
