Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

- Replace the gasket and o-ring after removal.
-- Push the seal -1- on the Thrust Piece:T40425 -arrows-.
- The open side of seal faces upward.
TIP:
If the Thrust Piece:T40425 can not be positioned flush, due to it touching the front coolant pipe, then the thrust piece must be refinished accordingly at the upper tab -arrow- using a file.
-- Install the seal with the Thrust Piece:T40425 , in order to do this, install the bolts -arrow- alternating turns of 1 /2 all the way.
- Check if Thrust Piece fits closely to the crankcase all around, if necessary squeeze it some more using light hammer strokes.
Further installation is performed in reverse order of the removal.
