Tunnel CROSSMEMBER, Removing And Installing, A4/A5: Removing

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Mount the :T10337 on the :VAS6931 and attach it under the transmission.
- To prevent damage to the driveshaft heat shield, place a suitable piece of wood -arrow- underneath as shown.
-- Raise the transmission slightly.
CAUTION:
Risk of Accident Due to Loose Components
- The :VAS6931 may only be used during assembly and must not sit unsupervised under the vehicle.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the nuts -1- and remove the tunnel crossmember.
