Driveshaft Heat Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and bolt -2- for the underbody trim panel -1- in the heat shield area.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Remove the exhaust system clamping sleeve. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - 2.0L , OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - 3.0L , OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - Servicing 3.0L and OVERVIEW - EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM - 2.0L , OVERVIEW - EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM - 3.0L .

-- Free up the heat shield -1- from the stud bolts -arrows-.
