Seat Pan Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Standard Seat: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture:VAS 6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the tunnel-side seat frame trim panel. Refer to TUNNEL-SIDE SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat frame trim panel on the side sill side. Refer to SEAT FRAME TRIM PANEL ON SIDE SILL SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the fire extinguisher bracket. Refer to FIRE EXTINGUISHER BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the seat cushion fan. Refer to FRONT SEAT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEAT CUSHION .

-- If installed, remove the front child seat anchor. Refer to FRONT CHILD SEAT ANCHOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the wiring harness connectors for the backrest and free up the disconnected wiring harnesses. Refer to MODULAR WIRING ROUTING, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the front backrest. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: note the information for the passenger occupant detection system. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Detach the molding -1, 2 and 3- from the cover in the front and side areas using the Backrest Panel Tool:3370 .

-- Detach the hooks -arrows-.

-- Disengage the cover molding -1- using the Backrest Panel Tool:3370 .

-- Detach the cushion with cover from the seat pan and remove. If equipped, guide out the seat heating wiring harness.
