Thermal Management Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 -G902-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI Q5

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Procedure 

-- To remove any residual pressure in the cooling system, cut the seal tab -3- and open the coolant expansion tank cap -1- for the high-voltage system cooling circuit.

-- Slightly lift the seal on the plenum chamber bulkhead and plenum chamber cover from the left side.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

CAUTION:

Collecting coolant and determining volumes.

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray:VAS 6208  underneath.

-- Remove the bolt -2-, and remove the Thermal Management Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 -G902-.

-- To prevent coolant loss, install the new coolant temperature sensor immediately.

-- Add the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, ADDING AND COOLING SYSTEM, BLEEDING, HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM COOLING CIRCUIT .

-- Drain and fill the coolant for the high-voltage system cooling circuit only if the coolant loss is greater than 500 ml. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING, HIGH-VOLTAGE COOLING CIRCUIT  and Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FILLING, HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM COOLING CIRCUIT .
