Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor -G578-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

- To remove the Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor -G578- the outer trim, inner trim and switch trim for the front interior lamp/reading lamp must be removed.
- These procedures are described for removal of the interior lamp/reading lamp on vehicles with panorama sliding sunroof, for this reason it is described there for all vehicles.
-- Remove the front interior lamp/reading lamp, with panorama sliding sunroof. Refer to FRONT INTERIOR LAMP/READING LAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, WITH PANORAMA SLIDING SUNROOF .
-- Release the catches in the direction of -arrows- and remove the anti-theft alarm system sensor -2- from the interior lamp/reading lamp.
-- Release the retainer -3- and loosen the individual sensors -1, 4 and 5- for interior monitoring from the interior lamp/reading lamp. The catch -3- can be released on the sensor -4- from the rear side and on the sensors -1 and 5- from the front of the interior lamp/reading lamp.
-- Free up the wires.
-- Remove the anti-theft alarm system sensor.
