Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Cam Actuator, Removing And Installing

Removing 

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Cylinder 2 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F452- / Cylinder 3 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F456- :

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -2- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.

-- Disconnect the connectors and free up the wires.

For the Ignition Coil 3 with Power Output Stage -N291- /Ignition Coil 4 with Power Output Stage -N292-

For the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-

For the Cylinder 2 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F452- / Cylinder 3 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F456- :

For the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor -G71-

Cylinder 2 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F454- / Cylinder 3 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F458-

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the air duct pipe -1-.

-- Remove the connector -1- for the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire. (Shown on a vehicle without a particulate filter).

-- Disconnect the connectors:

For the Low Fuel Pressure Sensor -G410-

For the Engine Cover Temperature Sensor -G765-

For the Cylinder 2 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F454- / Cylinder 3 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F458-

-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose -4- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and push the wiring duct to the side.

Cylinder 2 Exhaust Cam Adjuster 1 -F454- :

-- Remove the cylinder bank 1 (right) oil separator. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
