Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, Vehicle With 3.0L TFSI Engine: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Secure all hose connections with new hose clamps. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
-- Position the vacuum pump driver -1- so it engages in the symmetrical groove on the camshaft when positioning -arrows-.
-- Install the vacuum line with the hose clamp -1- connected.
-- Install the lower air duct pipe. Refer to appropriate Turbocharger article, Charge Air System; Air Duct Pipe, Removing and Installing .
