Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70-, PRE-BLEEDING

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Collection bottle from the Bleeding Equipment: VAS6860  or Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit: VAS5234

• Plugs from the Repair Kit: 1H0 698 311 A  : M10 -item 1- and M12 -item 2-

• M10 plug -item 1- or M12 -item 2- from the Assembly Part Set: 5Q0 698 311

Procedure

-- Attach the bleeder bottle -2- to the Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70- -item 3- with a suitable bleed hose.

-- Open the bleed screw -1-.

-- Fill with brake fluid until it comes out of the threaded hole -arrow- free of bubbles.

-- Close the bleeder screw.

-- Seal off the threaded hole with a plug.

-- Install the Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70-. Refer to Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
