Left Instrument Panel Ambient Lighting Lamp -L229-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel decorative trim -2- with the LED module -1-. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
This is disassembled to remove the faulty LED module.
-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows-, and remove the cover -6-.
-- Remove the circuit board -1-.
-- Release the retainers -3 and 5- and remove the housing -2- from the fiber-optic cable -4-.
