Overview - Oil Pan/Oil Pump

Oil spray jet for piston cooling. Refer to OVERVIEW - PISTONS AND CONNECTING ROD .

Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
Oil Pan Lower Section
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Intake Tube
- Replace after removing
- For the oil pump
Bolt
- 8 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
Chain Sprocket
- For the oil pump
Bolt
- 20 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 4 or Refer to Fig 5.
Oil Pan Upper Section
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Alignment Sleeve
Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
Oil Tray
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- 30 Nm
- Oil the threads
Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 3 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
Seal
- Replace after removing

Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Tighten the bolts in the steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 to 17-	Install all the way by hand
2.	-1 to 17-	3 Nm
3.	-1 to 17-	90° additional turn

Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Tighten the bolts in stages as follows:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-arrows-	Install all the way by hand
2.	-1 and 2-	3 Nm
3.	-arrows-	3 Nm in a diagonal sequence
4.	-1 and 2-	90° additional turn
5.	-arrows-	Turn an additional 90° in a diagonal sequence

Replace bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Tighten the bolts in the steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 to 21-	Install all the way by hand
2.	-20 and 21-	3 Nm
3.	-1 to 19-	3 Nm
4.	-20 and 21-	90° additional turn
5.	-1 to 19-	90° additional turn
