- Bleeder bottle from the Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit: VAS5234
- Plugs from the Assembly Part Set: 5Q0 698 311
Bleeding the Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70- After Replacing the Brake Master Cylinder or Brake Booster
- M10 Plugs
- M12 Plugs
Procedure
-- Attach the bleeder bottle -2- to the Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70- -3- with a suitable bleed hose.
-- Open the bleed screw -1-.
-- Fill with brake fluid until it comes out of the threaded hole -arrow- free of bubbles.
-- Close the bleeder screw.
-- Seal the threaded hole with a plug from the Assembly Part Set: 5Q0 698 311 .
-- Install the Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70-. Refer to Brake System Pressure Reservoir -VX70-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
