Brake Piston, Removing And Installing: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

NOTE:

The procedure only applies to the six-piston brake.

Place the : T10145  with a wooden block -1- placed between it and the old brake pads and push the brake caliper pistons back completely into the brake caliper.

Carefully pry out the protective cap -1- from the brake caliper with the : VAS40338  -2- using gentle lever movements, and do not damage the groove in the brake caliper for the cap while doing so.
