Brake Fluid Reservoir, Removing And Installing: Installing
Coat the plugs on the brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid.
-- Insert the brake fluid reservoir into the plugs in the brake master cylinder.
Coat the plugs lightly with brake fluid for easier reservoir installation.
-- Instill the securing pin -arrow-.
The securing pin must go through the brake fluid reservoir tabs and through the brake master cylinder.
The securing pin must be replaced if it is damaged or bent.
-- Tighten the securing pin, 8 Nm
-- Connect the connector -2- for the Brake Fluid Level Warning Switch -F34-.
Depending on the model, a steel cap is mounted on the brake fluid reservoir.
Install the steel cap after installing the brake fluid reservoir.
Tighten the brake fluid reservoir steel cap to 8 Nm.
-- Fill the brake fluid reservoir up to the "MIN" mark.
Remove all cloths from the vehicle that were previously placed down.
-- Bleed the brake system. Refer to HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
-- Install the plenum chamber cover. Refer to BULKHEAD .

- Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
