Sill Panel Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing

Versions with illuminated sill panel:

-- A6: remove the A-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A6: remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A6: remove the sill panel. Refer to SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A7 Sportback: remove the B-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the inner door seal in the area of the wiring harnesses.

-- Push the carpet to the side.

-- Disconnect the connector: front -2-, rear -1-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

Continuation:

-- Carefully warm up the sill panel trim -1- using the :VAS1978/14A .

-- Carefully pry out the sill panel trim from the side sill -arrow- using the :3409 . Do not damage the paint coat while doing so.
